Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, username, password (stored only as a one-way hash), timezone and app preferences such as theme and notification settings.
• Pet information you enter: pet name, type, breed, sex, birth date, weight, notes, medication plans, doses given or skipped, and vaccination records including the location and veterinarian you type in.
• Sharing information: who you invite, their role, and who recorded each dose or vaccination.
• Device information: a push notification token, platform (Android or iOS) and app version, so we can send reminders to your devices.
• Technical logs: IP address, request times and error details, kept for security and troubleshooting.

We do not access your device location, contacts, photos or camera. We do not show ads and we do not sell personal data.

How we use it

• To run the service: store your pets' records, calculate reminder schedules and show shared history to members of each pet.
• To send the reminders and account emails you asked for (verification, password reset, invitations).
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

Who can see your data

Pet records are visible only to members of that pet. Other users can find you by your exact username and see your name and username; they cannot see your email address.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your name, email and username and sign out all devices immediately. Pets you shared are handed to another member so their care history remains available to them; pets only you could access are archived. Backups containing deleted data expire within 30 days. Security logs are kept for up to 90 days.

Your choices and rights

• Edit your profile and notification preferences at any time in the app.
• Leave a shared pet or remove members you invited.
• Delete your account in the app or on our account deletion page.
• Ask us for a copy of your data or to correct it by emailing momopaw@caelux.id.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed with Argon2id. Access tokens are short-lived and sessions can be revoked. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you, we will notify you.

Children

Momopaw is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
